Account Executive
Courtesy Connection is a scaling SaaS firm that is lucky enough to be taking off. To add fuel to the fire of that growth engine, it's time for us to bring an
Account Executive to the team. The focus of this position will be on outbound sales, account management, and inside sales growth. That said, of those three items,
the primary focus will be outbound sales.
- Location: Remote. It would be particularly convenient if you happened to live in Georgia. North Carolina, Colorado, or Tennessee would also be a
plus due to some business considerations. Ultimately, location is negotiable, and this position is 100% remote.
Job Responsibilities
- Identifies prospective clients
- Engages, educates, and closes prospective clients
- Works closely with Marketing and Customer Success
- Manages existing customer accounts
- Drives upsell opportunities for existing customer accounts
- ... and other duties as needed by the business
Necessary Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Comfort and expertise with outbound sales. This role involves a lot of cold email and phone calls. While you will absolutely have existing accounts (and some limited warm outbound)
as well, much of the focus of this role is on new logo growth.
- SaaS Sales experience: We need someone who knows what it takes to excel in a scaling startup environment. If you have worked at a
$XX billion SaaS firm and your accounts have been primarily assigned or inbound, then what's needed at Courtesy Connection is a very different role.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience interfacing with Marketing and Customer Success teams to drive execution and growth
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience with the property management industry is a plus. It's in no way a hard requirement, though.
Technology Expertise
- We use Hubspot extensively. It would be a huge plus to have someone familiar with Hubspot as a Sales CRM, though it's not a requirement.
Compensation
- Salary: $80,000 base salary + commissions. Year one total target comp is $115,000.
- Bonus: On years when Courtesy Connection pays a bonus (we have every year to-date, contingent on company overall performance), then this position will be eligible for an annual bonus.
